Business Grant and Funding Advisory for B.C. Companies
Assess government funding for your business and build a plan for the full cost of your project. CBLE Funding Advisory helps established businesses assess suitable opportunities, prepare financial information and understand how the full project will be funded.
Plan the full cost of your project
A funding opportunity is one part of the financial picture. Your business also needs a realistic budget, evidence supporting its application and a plan for costs or payment periods the program does not cover.
CBLE helps you examine these pieces together. We consider the proposed investment, available funds, timing and any additional financing that may be appropriate. An application in progress is not an approved award or a confirmed payment date.
Business grant consulting and financial preparation
Funding assessment considers the business, project and current program requirements. Financial preparation can include cash-flow forecasts, project budgets and a schedule of funding sources. Application coordination helps organize the required evidence, working with your accountant or other specialists where appropriate.
Where borrowing fits the plan, CBLE can also assess equipment financing and leasing, working-capital financing or a commercial line of credit. Each financing option remains subject to lender assessment and affordability.
Who the service is for
The initial focus is established B.C. businesses considering equipment investment, productivity improvements, market diversification or a response to documented tariff effects. A useful starting point is a defined project, current financial records and a realistic implementation timetable.
Eligibility differs by program. We assess current requirements against your circumstances rather than assuming every business or project qualifies.
From initial discussion to a scoped engagement
First, tell us what your business wants to achieve and what stage the project has reached. We identify the information needed to assess fit. If further work is appropriate, we agree the deliverables and fees before starting a paid engagement.
Your agreed deliverables may include a shortlist of suitable open programs, a project budget, a cash-flow forecast and a checklist of outstanding application information. The assessment may also identify reasons to change the project or defer an application. Government agencies and lenders make their own decisions.
Advisory fees and financing services
Funding advisory is a separate professional service within Canada Business Loan Experts. The scope and fee are agreed before paid work begins. Any financing-related compensation is explained separately. Do not assume that a funding program will reimburse advisory fees.
For accountants and equipment suppliers
We welcome discussions with accounting professionals, equipment dealers and other business advisers whose clients need help preparing the financial side of a project. We agree responsibilities and any commercial terms before proceeding. Client information is shared only with the appropriate permission.
Learn about CBLE referral relationships or contact us to discuss an advisory collaboration. Advisory arrangements are agreed separately from existing loan-referral arrangements.
Finding a suitable program
We review current intake status and the requirements that matter to your project, including eligible costs, your contribution and completion dates. Government funding can include non-repayable contributions and repayable support. Start with PacifiCan's current funding programs, then assess the fit for your business.
Discuss your funding project
Tell us about your business, the proposed project and your timing. An initial enquiry helps us identify the right next conversation; it does not establish program eligibility or financing approval.
Frequently asked questions
Does CBLE award government funding?
No. CBLE provides advisory and financing coordination services. Government agencies assess applications and decide whether to provide support.
Do you provide grant writing services?
We help assess funding fit and prepare financial information and supporting evidence for an application. Any application drafting, specialist input or submission support is agreed in the engagement scope before work begins.
Can I apply to a program myself?
Yes, where the program permits direct applications. CBLE's service is for businesses seeking help with financial preparation, project funding and coordination. We agree the work you want assistance with before starting an engagement.
Is advisory work included in your loan brokerage service?
Funding advisory has its own scope and agreed fees. If the project also requires brokerage services, those arrangements and any compensation are explained separately.
Can financing cover the rest of my project?
Possibly. The answer depends on the program's rules, the proposed financing and the business's ability to repay. An equipment lease payment estimate can help explore a budget, but it is not a financing offer or a program assessment.
Can I borrow while waiting for an application decision?
A pending decision alone does not establish a repayment source. Bridge financing requires a credible repayment plan and lender assessment. We examine the evidence, timing and alternatives before recommending borrowing.
What should I prepare for an initial discussion?
Start with a short description of the project, its estimated cost and timing, your business's revenue range and any funding correspondence. Detailed financial documents can follow through an agreed process if the engagement proceeds.
